Support for leaving care teams

Many of the young people you support came to the UK on their own, and some have been through more than most of us will ever face. Being able to talk to someone in their own language, at any time of day or night, can make a real difference.

Refugee Host Support works with leaving care and UASC teams to give young people access to confidential wellbeing support in their first language. Support is delivered by our specialist partner providers. We set up the memberships, give you everything you need to pass on to each young person, and are on hand to help your team.

How it helps your team

An additional layer of wellbeing support that works alongside your personal advisers

Support is available around the clock, including evenings and weekends when your office is closed.

It supports your corporate parenting role and the wellbeing goals in each young person's pathway plan.

It reflects the government's statutory guidance on caring for unaccompanied children, which stresses support in a young person's own language and help with trauma and loss.

It works alongside your personal advisers' support, not instead of it.

It is simple to run: you choose which young people to offer it to, and we handle the rest.

Cost

Ask Ali and Ask Hanna memberships cost

£144

per young person per year, plus VAT.
